Valente Brothers ™

On August 30 and 31 Instructor Bruce Belfield along with students Anthony Johnson and Justin Moody taught a self defense course for police officrs at the Criminal Justice Institute (CJI), which is the police academy for Broward County Police Officers and is located at Broward College in Davie.  This is the first self defense course held at the CJI and was attended by Officers from Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Broward Sherrif's Office, Plantation, Coral Springs, West Palm, Hallandale, Lauderhill, Pembroke Pines, and several other Police Departments.  Valente Brothers Jiu-Jitsu is proud to establish the same relationship with Broward County Law Enforcement that it has had for years with the Dade County Law Enforcement as taught by Professors Pedro, Gui, and Joaquim Valente during seminars at the Miami-Dade Police Academy and ongoing classes taught by Freddy Trillo.  We would also like to thank Head Instructor Tammy Spaulding at the CJI for choosing Valente Brothers as its self defense provider.
