Self-Defense workshop at Barry University
Professor Gui and Joaquim Valente introduced students to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
Professor Gui Valente, who holds a Masters in Sport Management from Barry University and Professor Joaquim Valente currently a senior studying Criminology at Barry, shared some of the most practical self-defense techniques of Gracie Jiu-JItsu in two classes this Tuesday night at Barry University. The event was organized by Valente Brothers blue belt and Barry University faculty member Brett Scaglione. Valente Brothers and Barry University are working together to offer Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as an ISR course next semester. Brown belt Asim Zaidi assisted the brothers during the two classes.
